About Us
Whenever the community needs help, the only person they turn to is Mr. Alex Essuon, a community leader. He led the people to mobilize funds to build a community clinic in 2020, which has reduced child mortality rate in our community. But, the increase of poor health, poverty, lack of quality education and employment issues facing the town created the necessity to raise funds to help Bonsuoku community became inevitable. Hence the creation of Bonsuoku Community Foundation (BCF) was started in 2021 to take care of the needs of the people of Bonsuoku and its environs. It also became necessary to bring together the financial resources of individuals, volunteers, families, and businesses to support effective educational systems that will improve the moral and social lives of our people; especially the girls of our community. We, for that reason, welcome every volunteer, both locally and internationally to support us with this principal cause.
OUR APPROACH
We focus on an approach driven by community involvement and participation throughout all of our work. This is why we value community partnerships and input from our residents. Without collective action, we cannot achieve our goals of enhancing the health, education, and well-being of the people in Bonsuoku. We are determined to serve the Bonsuoku community while focusing on four key values: integrity, trustworthiness, knowledge, and compassion.
