Children's Education
At BCF we believe that every child in the community deserves a quality education. We hope to improve education and the education facilities in Bonsuoku by building a new school for the community and surrounding areas. While we are in the building stages of our school, we currently offer education classes to children in the area - read more below! We also aim to provide scholarships to children in town that cannot afford to attend school.
SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Overview
Currently Bonsuoku has one primary school and one junior high school that serves the community. Our goal is to increase school enrollment rates and attendance in the area by providing a quality education to children in and around Bonsuoku. We hope to make school an enjoyable place children look forward to going to each day and a place they can learn to reach their true potential!
phase 1
The first phase of construction will focus on ground floor of the school, which includes class 1 to class 6 classrooms, administration, staff common room, head master's office, canteen, and toilet and handwashing facilities for students and faculty. For $100 you can provide 100 building blocks needed for our construction!

CURRENT PHASE
phase 2
The next phase of construction will begin with the nursery and Junior High School (JHS) block for form 1 to form 3. It will also include a computer lab, science lab, library, and additional toilet and handwashing stations to accommodate the incoming students.
phase 3
The final stage of construction will include finishing the school with sports amenities such as a football (soccer) field and volleyball court to provide the children an outlet for physical education. Additionally, this phase will include a boarding facility for children attending the school from outside of the Bonsuoku area.
MASTERMINDS COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Many students in the area struggle with basic math and reading skills that they need to excel. Masterminds Community School provides education to children in the community and provides sponsorships to children that cannot afford school. Our dedicated teachers work hard everyday to ensure student success and encourage empowerment.

Masterminds Community School currently sits in the heart of Bonsuoku with limited space and resources to expand. Because of this, construction on new land for a larger school is underway and when complete, the Masterminds Community School will move.

$21 USD a month can provide a child in Bonsuoku with an education and a daily meal while attending classes.
NII NANA BAAH SHOETAN SCHOLARSHIP
The NII Nana Baah Shoetan Scholarship provides primary school education sponsorship to 21 children at Masterminds Community School. These children come from the Bonsuoku community and otherwise would not have the means to attend school. The scholarship covers all of their schooling needs for the 2023 academic year.
